This historic 4-star hotel is in Carbonara Street, very close to the Central Station and a mere six-minute walk from the neo-Gothic Cathedral of Naples. This 13th century mansion was renovated and remodelled in 1548. Visitors cannot fail to be impressed by the luxurious entrance overlooking a Renaissance-style interior courtyard, which combines ancient and modern design features. Although it is on the main street, the hotel is a haven of peace and tranquillity.
It has 158 rooms on three floors, three of which are suites. Each has its own character: the first has kept its Renaissance essence, with the original ceiling and restored furniture; the second is divided as a duplex on two floors, and the third is the smallest, but it has a terrace overlooking the interior patio.

After 1650, Palazzo Caracciolo became a popular venue for high-profile weddings. It is still an excellent choice for both social and corporate events. The hotel has facilities for all kinds of events, from small gatherings (in the Politeama, Sannazzaro or Bellini rooms) to larger undertakings. There is space for to 300 people in the cloister, which is always a delightful and popular choice. The hotel does not work with an exclusive supplier, although its in-house team will ensure that your event is a resounding success. It also has an agreement with the Diocesan Museum, just 300 metres away, for events or to enjoy art exhibitions and collections. Palazzo Caracciolo is particularly popular with large companies in the pharmaceutical and incentive sectors, such as Pfizer. It is also a recurring choice for incentive events.
