Palazzo Caracciolo Naples, 800 years of history in the centre of Naples
Naples is a city with a long history that reveals itself as you stroll through the streets. In the city centre, Palazzo Caracciolo, a wonderful 13th-century mansion, has been converted into a hotel with seven event rooms and capacity for up to 300 people. An ideal option if you are looking for a location with history, a handy location (you can walk to the main attractions) and superb service. Allow yourself to be tempted by the fabulous gastronomy and culture this colourful city has to offer.
Unbeatable location and luxury facilities
This historic 4-star hotel is in Carbonara Street, very close to the Central Station and a mere six-minute walk from the neo-Gothic Cathedral of Naples. This 13th century mansion was renovated and remodelled in 1548. Visitors cannot fail to be impressed by the luxurious entrance overlooking a Renaissance-style interior courtyard, which combines ancient and modern design features. Although it is on the main street, the hotel is a haven of peace and tranquillity.
It has 158 rooms on three floors, three of which are suites. Each has its own character: the first has kept its Renaissance essence, with the original ceiling and restored furniture; the second is divided as a duplex on two floors, and the third is the smallest, but it has a terrace overlooking the interior patio.
One of the most outstanding features of the hotel is the large mural at the entrance, just one part of a selection by local talent that can be found in Palazzo Caracciolo.
Seven event rooms and capacity up to 300 people
After 1650, Palazzo Caracciolo became a popular venue for high-profile weddings. It is still an excellent choice for both social and corporate events. The hotel has seven rooms, all with natural light (an unusual aspect) fully fitted with audiovisual equipment. The hotel has facilities for all kinds of events, from small gatherings (in the Politeama, Sannazzaro or Bellini rooms) to larger undertakings. There is space for to 300 people in the cloister, which is always a delightful and popular choice. As you can see, it is a congressual hotel with large spaces, able to accomodate big conferences, incentives, corporate meetings as well.
The hotel does not work with an exclusive supplier, although its in-house team will ensure that your event is a resounding success. It also has an agreement with the Diocesan Museum, just 300 metres away, for events or to enjoy art exhibitions and collections. Palazzo Caracciolo is particularly popular with large companies in the pharmaceutical and incentive sectors, such as Pfizer. It is also a recurring choice for incentive events.
Food to delight gourmets
Italian food is popular the world over and it is a country with a Mediterranean diet consisting of high-quality, seasonal products. Palazzo Caracciolo serves an extensive range of dishes based on traditional Neapolitan cuisine, prepared by a prestigious chef with a Michelin star. The hotel serves these gastronomic delights in two restaurants: La Cucina, a colourful, modern venue; and the cloister, ideal for a special dinner in an elegant, sophisticated atmosphere.
And after a long day’s work, what better than some relaxation in the spa. The ERA Wellness Lounge is being renovated with a sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi for four people and the most innovative of all, an “emotional shower”. A spellbinding experience with coloured lights that will leave you feeling like new.
Naples is an ideal destination for incentive trips as it is located at a strategic point in the country. There’s no better choice than the Palazzo hotel as your starting point for discovering Italy. What’s more, the city is full of cultural interest, with attractions such as the archaeological museum, Duomo, chapel of San Severo and San Gregorio Armeno, and much more.
