French luxury in the Eternal City
The Sofitel Roma is in a fabulous location in the heart of the city, less than 15 minutes from the Trevi Fountain, close to the Villa Borghese and Villa Medici parks. It has been fully restored by designer Jean-Philippe Nuel, who added a polished “French touch” to this boutique hotel in keeping with the essence of the capital.
The architect drew from nature for creative inspiration, making the project an extension of the Villa Medici gardens. That’s why the predominant colors are green and brown, culminating in an explosion of colour and magnificent views in the Settimo restaurant on the 7th floor.
The hotel currently has 78 rooms, seven of which are suites. There are three penthouse suites with private terraces and four larger ones on other floors with Juliet balcony. All the elegant, glamorous rooms in this hotel share the same colour palette and feature the timeless chic of wood and marble.
Flexible, glamorous events
The Sofitel Roma is a magnificent choice for tasteful, distinguished meetings and small events. It is ideal for small groups who value quality over quantity and everything must go perfectly. There are three rooms on one floor that can be used to suit our clients’ requirements, renting them all, just one or a combination. The rooms can accommodate from four to 30people and can be set up as desired (U-shaped, classroom style, with a table…). There is also a common area, le Comptoir, for holding coffee breaks.
The largest room -Salon Lumiere- boasts natural light. It is fitted with a complete audiovisual system with a projector and screen, as well as a video call system for hybrid events. The Privee and Cheminee Lounges are equipped with all the facilities for the most demanding audience.
The hotel provides all the necessary basic material that can be customised according to client’s needs, including client’s name, logo or the name of the event.
Seventh heaven up on the roof
Guests discover what “seventh heaven” really means in the rooftop restaurant and terrace panoramic views over the city. It has space for 45 people and is available for events (particularly social occasions such as birthdays, weddings and graduation celebrations).
Try in spring and summer from 6.00 pm, when the sunset splashes the sky with colour and the heat starts to wane. The restaurant serves traditional Roman food featuring seasonal and local products. If you choose to stay for lunch, we offer a business lunch option with an antipasti starter and a first course.
