Get your head in the clouds at the Pullman Paris Montparnasse

After an ambitious renovation programme, Europe’s largest Pullman hotel, the Pullman Paris Montparnasse, opens its doors once again. This outstanding four-star hotel with 957 rooms has been entirely remodelled and redesigned. The Pullman Paris Montparnasse, the brand’s new flagship with an exceptional MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing, Exhibitions) capacity, will undoubtedly amaze you.

Ever since the Roaring Twenties, synonymous with a unique cultural and social buzz, the Montparnasse district of Paris has retained its vibrant character.  Today, it still pulses to the rhythm of jazz clubs and legendary cafés,  and offers a wealth of cultural activities. With the opening this year of the Ateliers Gaîté, this iconic quarter of the French capital is soaring to new heights. The idea is to assemble in the same block a shopping centre, dwellings, offices, sports hall, library… and the Pullman Paris Montparnasse. The ambitious Ateliers Gaîté programme is directed at increasing tourism and business travel, while developing a more dynamic neighbourhood.

Innovative architecture and cutting-edge design

The beating heart of this new complex, the Pullman Paris Montparnasse, will not fail to astonish regular guests. While they will have no difficulty recognising the building’s exterior – a landmark in the area at 115 metres high – they will be surprised by the entirely renovated interior.

On entering the lobby, it is impossible not to be struck by the edgy appearance of this modern, urban living space with an innovative focus. The designer duo Benjamin Clarens and Yann Martin, founders of CUT Architectures, conceived these open spaces that alternate areas for social interaction with areas for rest. Concentric lines provide a clever accompaniment to the functions designed for visitors, and in spite of the impressive space it would be difficult to lose your way: everything is clear and perfectly indicated, and guests naturally gravitate towards their specific check-in area (tourism, business, VIP). In addition to this, if there were to be the slightest doubt the hotel staff are always available and highly attentive to customers’ needs.

Outstanding MICE capacities…

Comprising three floors covering 6,000 m2 and around fifty meeting rooms enjoying natural daylight, the Pullman Paris Montparnasse’s events centre is exceptional. The Great Ballroom, with its inimitable style and impressive dimensions, is a perfect illustration of this. Covering 742 m2, it can receive up to 700 people. Dividable into four areas, it can be adapted to suit the size of your event. From gala dinners to press conferences or runway shows, the ballroom is suitable for a wide variety of uses.

Thanks to its dimmable circular lights, ultra-precise acoustics and a 4 x 8 metre screen, you can design the perfect setting to create an event to suit your image. A detail, but an important one: there is a freight lift to transport heavy items such as cars.

… Suitable for all types of events!

Around the Great Ballroom lie the Foyer and the Large Studios where large functions, such as cocktail parties, can be held. The modular Large Studios are also suited to more intimate meetings, like workshops or training sessions.

Now let’s head for the Green floor: 13 reception rooms, all within easy reach of an 800 m2 green terrace. The Pullman Paris Montparnasse’s CSR policy is an essential cornerstone, as illustrated on this floor by its focal point, the Green Suite, an exceptional executive reception room with its own dining room and private terrace. In the same capsule style, 19 guest rooms can be converted into meeting rooms.

And if you wish to break with the conventions of a traditional meeting, you can benefit from an interactive setting to create an event that will make an impression with the C2 immersive space, an incredible 1,500 m2 arena designed for avant-garde business events, where you can express your creativity. This unorthodox venue features the Garden for relaxation, the Hangar for creativity, and a Forum for entertainment… expressions of the “playground” spirit  that Pullman is attached to!

The art of living at its zenith

For a grand finale, take a trip to the top, to another of the hotel’s triumphs: the Skybar Paris. The highest open-air rooftop bar in Paris, it affords a stunning view over the French capital. Hip  and intimate, this venue will without doubt be one of the highlights of your trip. Particularly since it serves excellent, Asian-inspired dishes that can be accompanied with a signature cocktail, with or without alcohol. This venue, not to be missed under any circumstances, can be booked for exclusive use by groups.

And as for fine dining, the Pullman Paris Montparnasse is a new destination for foodies! The hotel has developed a whole range of international cuisines, offering a diverse and delicious alternative to local bistros. In addition to room service, there is also Europe’s first Umami Burger restaurant, the leading American brand of delectable gourmet burgers, originally from Los Angeles. Do you feel like a good Italian meal? Then head for Fi’lia,  which serves authentic Italian cuisine with a great contemporary twist. Lastly, for anyone feeling peckish before a meeting or an incentive event, the Grab & Go has exactly what you need.
