Roissy: imminent take-off for a high-flying meeting
Thousands of travellers visit Roissy every day but few people take the time to discover this place. So follow us, we're taking off!
The small village of Roissy-en-France, which has become one of the world's largest airport hubs, now offers many hosted meeting solutions for all types of events.
Behind the famous nickname of the 9e world airport, inaugurated in 1974, hides a little-known and underestimated destination that holds many surprises for business visitors. The village of Roissy-en-France located in the Val-d'Oise 25 km north-east of Paris...dates back to the Gallo-Roman period. This typical Ile de France village has kept its identity for nearly 2000 years thanks to its dynamism and its green setting.
Accessibility
Of course, the major asset of this destination for a company seminar is its unique accessibility. Roissy-en-France is located in the heart of a dense network of roads consisting, inter alia, of the motorways A1, A3, A104 and the RD 902a. And if you come from the provinces for an annual congress, for example, Roissy is à 1h20 maximum from any city in France.
The Accor network at Roissy
So it was only natural for the Accor Group to set up shop at the heart of this global tourism and business tourism hub. With nearly 10 hotels and 3 000 rooms ready to welcome our customers, Accor is present in all segments: from economy (ibis and ibis Styles) to high-end (Pullman Paris Roissy CDG Airport), through Novotel, Novotel Suites and Mercure (mid-range). A range of hotels that alone combines 65 meeting roomsThis makes it possible to host any type of professional event, from sub-commission to convention. Another advantage is that our hotels are all located in the airport area with direct access to the terminals, as well as in the hotel area with a free shuttle service to all the terminals.
What to do near Roissy?
If you are looking for an incentive activity or an idea for a cultural outing between colleagues after your work meeting, seminar or study day, Roissy is also at the crossroads of many tourist attractions. In particular, in less than half an hour you can go to Chantilly to visit its famous Château and savour its delicious cream. But also to discover the Saint-Denis Basilica nearby, a historical monument where many kings of France are buried. And finally, if you come from the provinces (or not from elsewhere!), it is also an opportunity to see Paris by night shine brightly along the Seine for the most beautiful barge cruise in the world or to go to dinner at the Royal Monceau Raffles for example.
