Metz: strategic site for a major event

Metz : site stratégique pour événement marquant

Metz is a historic stronghold, the cradle of a remarkable heritage, and the art of living to boot. At the gateway to Germany and Luxembourg, the capital of Lorraine offers a high-quality and diversified welcome for a tailor-made event.

Vue de la cathédrale depuis le quai paul vautrinThree thousand years of history have forged the identity of this military city, located at the confluence of the Moselle and Seille rivers. Metz's architectural treasures span the ages, such as Saint-Etienne's Cathedral, one of the largest Gothic religious buildings in Europe, or the imperial quarter built in 1903 at the time of the city's annexation by Germany. The historic centre, which is entirely pedestrianised, is also true to its commercial tradition. Its 500 shops are very popular with tourists and cross-border commuters, who can also recharge their batteries in the 580 hectares of green spaces or stroll along the marina.

Metz, the third most populous city in the eastern part of France and a pioneer in urban ecology, has been playing the modernity card for over a decade. With 2,500 rooms, 225 restaurants and a dozen exceptional seminar venues, including the Grand Centre Pompidou-Metz, it is an ideally located business destination, tailor-made for your event.
