London: ideal for the organization of a themed seminar

Londres : idéal pour l’organisation d’un séminaire à thème

Hyper extensive, green (40% of green spaces!), cosmopolitan, lively, royal... So British! London is the city of superlatives!

The capital of a nation that has given the world the world's greatest rock bands and movie heroes is the perfect place to organize a business trip where seriousness and relaxation are combined.

London, everyone knows! The silhouette of its red buses and black taxis, the logo of its metro (the oldest underground railway network in the world), its endless bow windows, the naked caps of its Royal Guards, Buckingham Palace, the Queen... These images have been around the world.

But while preserving its traditions, the city displays an unfailing dynamism. The British capital is Europe's most popular business destination*. and, if things are likely to change once the Anglo-European divorce is consummated (the Brexit!), for the time being, it remains the leading European financial centre. That's to say that the city has business in its blood!

Accessibility

London is served by six airports, including Heathrowthe busiest in Europe. Located 23 km away, it is connected to the city by express train and several metro lines. You can also take the Channel Tunnel, if you come from Paris, Brussels or Amsterdam, and arrive by train. Eurostarin St Pancras, in the heart of the city.

The Accor network in London

With 57 addresses spread throughout the city, the Accor network is highly developed in London. There's something for every mood and every budget, with the following ranges Luxury, (Fairmont, Sofitel), Premium (Mantis, Pullman) Midscale (Novotel, Mercury, Adagio, Mama Shelter), Economy (ibis, ibis Styles). Even if your budget does not allow you to stay there, offer your team the luxury of a tea at the Savoy (Fairmont). The hotel, where the Melba Peach was created, at the end of the only London street where cars drive on the right, has many stories to tell and has 11 meeting rooms.

Incentive idea

Day or night, it's impossible to get bored in London! By day, head to one of the 245 museums or the London Eye. This big wheel, the highest in Europe at 130 metres, can carry up to 25 people per capsule for a complete tour in 30 minutes. At night, start with a drink at the pub - so British! - followed by a traditional or exotic dinner: cuisines from all over the world meet in London.

London is full of cultural references and it's THE city to organize a themed team building, starting with the one at the movie theater. How can you not think of James Bond when you see the silhouette of MI6 (which explodes in Skyfall ), to Bridget Jones when we cross the Millennium Bridge, the famous footbridge built by Norman Foster, to Hugues Grant and Julia Robert, in love with each other in Love at first sight in Notting Hill, when you're strolling down Portobello Road... At King's Cross Station, go to platform 9 ¾. Do you know? The one you reach... after driving headlong into a wall! If you are enchanted by the world of the little wizard, you should know that there are "Harry Potter special" towers and the studios, a few kilometres outside the city, can be visited. A plunge into the sets and the secrets of the filming, just to find your child's soul for a few hours.
