Florence: an open-air museum for your events

Florence: an open-air museum for your events

Pure art, history and the best open-air museum you will find. A UNESCO World Heritage Site! You may know it from the Medici, Botticheli's Venus and Michelangelo's David or... maybe you know it for its enogastronomy.

In any case, Florence will steal your heart if you are looking for unusual and tailor-made experiences for your events such as perfume tastings or a class to learn about the marble quarrying techniques used in the Renaissance.

The world’s greatest art treasures await you. The statue of Michelangelo’s David in the Galleria dell’Accademia (one of the city’s 72 museums) and the Duomo Cathedral, with Brunelleschi’s dome, are must-sees, but the whole city is a true work of art.  Forget about transport because walking through its streets you will enjoy incredible gardens, churches and bridges such as the famous Ponte Vecchio. At every step you can breathe the richness of different periods of its past.

Detail lovers will fall in love with the cobbled streets, the intricately designed fountains, the statues on every corner… Of course, its congress centre, Firence Fiera, very close to the centre, attracts a lot of business and, as a novelty, the Palazzo degli Affari (also venue) is reopening after a refurbishment.

One last tip: don’t leave without tasting their sweet wines. Florence stands out as one of the main gastronomic centres of the country and has an enormous wine tradition.
