July 12, 2016, Accor officially announced the acquisition of the Canadian group FRHI Hotels & Resorts and its prestigious brands: Raffles, Fairmont and Swissôtel.
Focus on these three brands that place Accor among the world leaders in luxury hotels and allow him to continue its international expansionparticularly in North America.
The origins of Raffles date back to 1887 in Singapore with the opening of the Raffles Hotel Singapore. This superb building was astonishing at the time with its imposing façade, combining classical and colonial styles. Facing the South China Sea, it has been theone of the trendiest luxury hotels in the Far East.
