Why should a company hold seminars?
If some people see the seminar as a simple holiday camp for colleagues, this underestimates the potential of a positive management act whose unifying role is no longer in question.
The seminar is a subtle management tool in its own right... It allows you to bring your troops together in a context that is still professional but more pleasant and relaxed. It's like a class trip for big kids. Due to budget cuts, seminars now last an average of 3 days and have become closer to the company. In the provinces in particular – Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille... - or in a neighbouring country, but remain a must for companies concerned about the well-being of their employees.
What exactly does it consist of? It is simply a working meeting outside the company premises to which leisure activities are added. Wine tasting, cultural visits, golfing, cooking classes... everything is possible. The important thing is to have a good time, to relax with colleagues, to create links and to exchange information and know-how. A change of scenery is often preferred as it is very much appreciated by employees: sea, mountains, countryside... it's all a question of budget and time available.
