Le Cercle opens its doors for a cooking workshop at the Adagio Paris Bercy Village

To introduce its new concept - Le Cercle - centred around its new common areas, the Adagio Paris Bercy Village invited a dozen hotel guests to a cooking workshop led by a private chef. An evening of conviviality and sharing. "À taaable! »

« Let's make chocolate, not war! »

The chef who runs the workshop immediately sets the tone for the evening: relaxation and good humour. Cooking with the guests is a very nice and friendly idea, just like this new concept proposed by the Aparthotels Adagio since December 2017. It is in order to introduce it to the professionals of the sector, that the brand organized this cooking workshop on Thursday 29th March, from 6.30 pm to 9 pm, with about ten participants: management assistants, Tour Operators, Adagio employees...

« The idea of the Circle is that our business clients can get together in the common areas to share a moment. » explains the director, Emmanuelle Petrus. « Our customers stay with us for an average of 5 to 6 days and it's not always easy to be alone. Small moments like tonight are good when you're away from home. Some customers are even there at the two dinners we organize every month! ».

« Where are the Adagio aprons? »

On the menu for this workshop, " Risotto with mushrooms and semi-cooked chocolate caramel ». The chef launches the ovens at 7pm. Immediately the guests ask the chef questions and get down to business. « How much sugar? 600 grams? I'm Italian, so I'm going by the nose. ! », « How long does it take to cook the risotto? », « I slice the mushrooms! ».

Between the buttering of the mussels for the mi-cuit and the interminable turns of the wooden spoon during the simmering of the risotto, the magic happens. Names and cooking secrets are exchanged, guests tell each other about their day and everyone has fun. « Only those who participated will be allowed to eat! », « Where are the Adagio aprons? », « Fat is life, I'm fed up with diets, and it shows, doesn't it?! ». After an hour and a half of effort and laughter, the merry brigade of one evening comes to the table for a well-deserved tasting. « It's good to be in the kitchen, it's friendly, we're having a good time... ».

"Le Cercle is a return to the principles of hospitality of a good innkeeper, warm and close to his customers.

« Customer expectations have changed dramatically. They need a lot more freedom. This is what we want to offer them with our new common areas. We have completely renovated our Aparthotel and inaugurated Le Cercle on December 4th. Guests can now access all our common areas whenever they want. The play corner with table football, the reception lounge with sofas and armchairs, the breakfast room and the shared kitchen. We also provide them with a library of objects: trinkets, plants, games console, raclette machine... They can take what they want and bring it back to their apartment. The most important thing is that they feel at home. »
