Five events spaces and a rooftop with a pool a stone’s throw from central Seville

Did you know that Seville is one of the top 100 cities in the ICCA ranking for international meetings? Many professional events like the Tourism Innovation Summit choose Seville as their destination, having been drawn in by its venues and hotels. Just 15 minutes from the Palacio de Congresos conference centre, the recently renovated Novotel Sevilla has four events spaces and a tucked-away room suitable for small groups. All have natural light. The hotel also boasts a rooftop with a swimming pool and city views, which is the perfect place for some tapas, cocktails and live music at the end of the day. Near central Seville and the Palacio de Congresos.

The hotel is in a bustling area next to Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium. Nearby, there are endless restaurants, leisure activities and shopping opportunities. Transport is also easily accessible. The AVE high-speed train station is a 15-minute walk away and, around the corner, you have a bus stop for the airport and a metro station. Because central Seville is just 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel, you can easily explore the city on foot and visit landmarks like the cathedral, the magical Plaza de España and the Real Alcázar.

Novotel Sevilla is also close to the Palacio de Congresos conference centre, known as FIBES (a 15-minute drive away). This venue has Spain’s biggest covered auditorium, which seats 3577 people. You could take advantage of this by arranging business meetings and more private events at the hotel, or organise for attendees to stay at the hotel, which has 171 rooms, including two suites. There will be no issues with parking thanks to the hotel’s 88-space car park.

You can also travel to Seville by sea. The city has the only inland port on the Iberian Peninsula that can receive cruise ships with up to 2000 passengers. There are also now more jetties on the Guadalquivir River offering watersports.

Need natural light and different options for events and setups? At Novotel Sevilla, you will find five bright spaces with natural light, five-metre ceilings and different capacities. Whatever your event, you’ll be pleased to know there are no columns restricting sight lines.

All spaces are on the same floor and well-connected, making up a bright and welcoming meeting area with a dynamic feel thanks to its colourful industrial decor. The tiles in the events spaces are very striking.

If you need more space, the three (partionable) rooms can be connected to create 75 sqm suitable for 240 attendees. It will be a challenge to find any other space in Seville like this with natural light! In the same corridor, there is another 60 sqm space.

All rooms have their own audiovisual equipment (including streaming facilities for hybrid events). You can use the spaces independently, combine them, or divide your event into breakout or subcommittee rooms, which is a current trend.

If you’re in need of a private and intimate space for a small-group meeting or cocktail event, have a look at the hotel’s working area. This also has natural light and is ideal for 8 to 10 people.

Each space has its own coffee station and the adjacent corridor and Gourmet Bar are specially designed to host a coffee break that will impress.

The hotel’s rooftop on the ninth floor is a haven to retreat to – a fitting grand finale for any event or after-work get-together with views of Seville and live music. The Ay Manuela food truck serves up a variety of wines, cocktails and gourmet tapas.

The rooftop has already played host to all kinds of events for around 150 people. Water shows and special lighting can be arranged in the swimming pool too. You can even change the methacrylate to personalise your event.

The hotel restaurant can serve sit-down meals for up to 120 people. The menu changes with the seasons and blends tradition with the avant-garde. Mindful of sustainability, it uses local, seasonal and eco-friendly produce wherever possible. The Gourmet Bar also has natural light and is the ideal open space for a coffee, cocktail event or a more informal meeting. It is decked out with low tables, multicoloured sofas and a living wall that makes an excellent backdrop for photos. The Gourmet Bar and the fitness centre are open 24 hours a day.

Central Seville, traditional flamenco tablao venues and flower-filled districts are just a 15-minute walk from the hotel. If you’re feeling daring, you could always travel by horse-drawn carriage instead… The hotel team can arrange activities and teambuilding sessions at the hotel or anywhere in the city: at the football stadium, at a flamenco tablao, at the “Mushrooms of Seville” (the world’s largest wooden structure), or even on a boat on the Guadalquivir River! Who could forget the experience of being serenaded by flamenco violins and guitars?
